Customer Responsibility
Always inspect the shaft and boxes that arrive with your order before signing for them to verify if any shipping damage is present. If damage is present, you must note this on the shipping receipt or the trucking company may not be responsible for the damage. If stored indoors, we still suggest removal of all shipping materials (plastic or paper wrapping and shipping tube) if there is any chance moisture will come into contact with the shaft.
Remove all wrappings from the shaft and placed above ground on saw horses with each end properly protected from scratching with blankets or other means as soon as the shaft is received on site. This will give you a chance to look for concealed damage and any other problems (incorrect pole size or # of pieces) which may need to be corrected. This could save delays and inconveniences if unpacked at the last moment.
If left in wrapping/shipping container once received at the job site, Flagpoles Etc or manufacturer will take no responsibility for staining that may occur. Warning Labels are prominently displayed on the wrapping and/or at both ends of the shaft. If you decide to leave the shaft in the wrapping, you do so at the risk of having the pole stain if moisture or water is present. If stored for a long period before installation, we suggest a dry location with low humidity. Even when stored inside, it is best to unwrap the pole and store in an area where damage is unlikely to occur.
A 5% processing fee applies to any cancelled order, even if it has not yet shipped out, and a 20% restock fee may apply. All custom orders, including custom color flagpoles that are produced and then cancelled are non-refundable.
Free Shipping
Shipping on most of our products is free to most states. Alaska, Hawaii, International customers and states that require additional fees for flagpole deliverys will be responsibility for extra shipping fees.
Shipping Policy
More trucking companies are using 28-foot pup trailers. The increasing use of pup trailers makes the shipment of anything longer than 27 1/4 feet difficult, less timely, and more expensive. Any pole 30'- 35' purchased through Flagpoles Etc. may be shipped in either a one piece or two piece pole at our discretion. All poles 40' and above will be shipped in 2-4 sections. Delivery location for flagpoles must be semi truck accessible or customer is responsible for any additional fees or pickup from local terminal.
Return Policy
Products damaged in shipping or with any manufacturers defect must be refused at time of delivery or noted damaged on delivery receipt for replacement or full purchase price refund. The two mold lines are a characteristic of fiberglass flagpoles. They are not a manufacturers defect.
Products returned for any other reason will be subject to a refund within 7 days of delivery however, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
Return shipping/postage is solely the customer's responsibility. All returns must be authorized by Flagpoles Etc and assigned a return authorization # or it will not be processed.
